To be eligible for the drawing, all you have to do is make a purchase of $500 or more, and you will automatically be entered. If you have already made a $500 purchase since the contest was announced in our March 27th newsletter, you are automatically eligible to win. We will announce the lucky winner in the next newsletter.

Dog Mountain Members, even if you are not a lucky winner, you can still have an unforgettable experience staying at the Cottage at Dog Mountain. We are now taking reservations for stays of two or more nights.

You may already know that the two bedroom cottage was designed by Stephen as a dog-friendly retreat for relaxation, renewal and fun. Relax in the heated outdoor spa facing a soothing waterfall. Renew your spirits as you are surrounded by wildflowers and Stephen's life affirming art. Take the private path to Dog Mountain, where you and your dog can explore miles of trails, swimming ponds, and of course, the Dog Chapel.

Member's Choice Winner

Certainly a print to
which many of us can relate.

We are happy to announce this month's Member's Choice Winner. Chris and Sue Savage of Petersburg, Alaska, chose the print "Good Dog / Bad Dog." Below are a few words from the lucky winners.

"When we received the opportunity to select one of Stephen Huneck's works, we howled with delight. Currently, we live with two fourteen year old Lab/Golden Retrievers, a 4 year old Lab/German shorthair and a Weimaranar. "Good Dog/Bad Dog" is the quintessential illustration of life with this menagerie. We often wonder what is going on inside their head, and now we know!

Stephen's work speaks so clearly about life with our best friends, our "kids". It was truly hard to determine which piece to choose. Every day with dogs brings funny, touching, loving...and sometimes trying moments. Mostly though, unconditional devotion and partnership.

Thank you Stephen and all of the beings, dogs and human, at Dog Mountain, for sharing your art with us!"

You may have guessed by now that Stephen loves giving. Stephen feels blessed to be in a position to help worthy causes raise much needed funds, especially in these difficult times.

Recently, as part of a campaign to help stamp out Canine Cancer, the artist created a special print, "Chase Away K9 Cancer" and is donating 25% of the proceeds from the sale of the print to the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Foundation. The Foundation will in turn use the funds to research cancer cures for the benefit of people and animals.

If you are involved in a worthy non-profit and would like to discuss a collaboration with Stephen, please contact us at info@dogmt.com.
